We care for watches and the time of the people who wear them.
Tutela Chronos, Inc. exists to solve a problem familiar to busy watch owners. The watch needs service, but the usual repair process becomes another responsibility to manage.
Your watch means a lot to you. From the moment you hand it to us until we return it, it’s insured and safe in our care.
Our name
What does Tutela Chronos mean?
Our name brings together two old words with a meaning that still feels personal today. Tutela is Latin for care, protection, and guardianship, while Chronos is Greek for time. Together, they express the promise at the heart of our work: to care for your watch and respect the time you would otherwise spend managing its service. We chose our name with intention, and we honor it in every client relationship, from the first conversation through the return of your watch.

A fine watch should add something meaningful to your day. Its service should not take time away from it. We collect the watch, complete the work in-house, keep the relationship clear, and return it to you. You remain informed without having to manage the usual repair shop trips and handoffs.

Watchmaking breadth
Beyond the name on the dial.
Our watchmakers work across the principal traditions of modern watchmaking, from established makers to independent and small series producers. We assess each watch by its movement, construction, condition, and parts support, not by brand recognition alone.
This experience includes Swiss, German, Japanese, British, French, American, Italian, Dutch, Russian, and Chinese watchmaking.
Independent makers and microbrands are welcome for assessment.

Nashville and Williamson County are home.
